Bio: Kay is a lovely girl who has been coming out of her shell and is turning into a social pup. She bonds quickly to humans and likes to stay very close. She doesn’t seem to have any issues with other dogs, and passes them calmly, as long as they don't get too close to her preferred human friend. She is friendly and loving, and will make a great addition to just about any home.

Her foster family had this to say about her:

“Kay is a very loving girl who bonds quickly with her humans, is eager to please and shows so much joy in receiving attention.  She has mastered going potty outside and we can officially say she is house trained.  She is a quick learner and in just one month has become crate trained and is able to stay home alone in her crate for up to two hours with no problem and is  very patient to be let out of her crate.  She should be fine with longer periods  of crate time with gradual introduction.

This little girl is still young and is very curious about her surroundings and the objects she finds.  She will need some adult supervision as she wants to find out more about her environment.

She loves playing with chew  toys and Kongs, but her most favorite toy is the tennis ball. She is thrilled to go running after the ball and has learned if she brings it back, the ball will be thrown again.  She loves her tennis ball so much that she will love the ball into pieces.

Kay walks well on leash, and doesn’t pull, and has not had any problems with distractions while on outings. Even though Kay has a lot of energy, she adores having her belly rubbed and chilling out in the afternoon sun.

We had a very loud 4th of July with lots of booms and screeches, but Kay didn’t have any problems and was very relaxed throughout the whole holiday. Kay wants nothing more to find her forever home so she can have the chance to fully come out of her shell. Every day she surprises us with her inquisitiveness, intelligence, playful spirit and loving nature.”
