Xerxes and Exacta are 5-month-old brother and sister adorable beautiful kittens. They were found a couple of months ago as feral kittens and have been living in our home for the past 2 months as fosters. They have made a lot of progress getting used to people but are still very timid. We keep them in our daughter’s bedroom so they are exposed to humans most of the day. They love to play and hang out on the bed with you, but are still leery of being handled, especially Exacta, the female. Xerxes will allow the occasional brief petting if he gets to know you. Both kittens have come a long way since we met them but they need a home that will feel comfortable continuing to work on socializing them and it may be that they will prefer to be outdoor cats living in your yard. They would not do well with young children or in a very noisy house. That being said we have two other cats and a dog who we don’t let in with them, but they have not been alarmed by the dog outside the room. If you are looking for a fun project, these two are for you. We have enjoyed our time with them immensely.
